Hey there! I want to talk about visa requirements the France Embassy told me to attach while I applied for my student visa last week.
Before we start to talk about all of the requirements, first thing first, I'm going to note the important things you have to know before you apply due to your application.
Disclaimer: The things I wrote down here, is based on my experience applying on a student visa as an exchange student from Rotary Youth Exchange. If you read this 1 or even 2 years later after this, I don't know whether the requirements and rules may have changed.
Now, let's talk about the requirements:
So that is all (things that I can remember), I really hope that this helps! Because I got a trouble for the application.
My birth card lost, so I had to remake the new one, with this broken system of the country, I procrastinated a lot due to the lackness of good services in public/ civil service institutions. AND THEN WHEN I FINISHED MAKING A NEW ONE, the embassy only needed the copy of it.
I really hope, this post help you and I really hope no one get into any trouble or problem for their visa.
That's all for now! Write ASAP!

- For student visa, you don't have to make any appointment via TLS Contact, nor call the hotline before the day of your application.
- For student visa, you just need to go to the embassy and simply apply there without any appointment.
- Remember, you can't be represented by anyone while you're making the visa, you have to come by yourself!! Well, your parents (or my mother, in my case) have to accompany you if you're a minor
- For exchange student, it costed 100 Euro, or about USD 120, or about IDR 1.612.000 but what I know for people who got scholarships (such as Erasmus Mundus, etc) it costed half the price or about 50 Euro, USD 60, IDR 806.000.
- You have to fill this before you go to the embassy (it will take times to fill the form there)

- http://www.vfsglobal-fr-ae.com/pdf/formulaire_LS_eng-05.04.12.pdf> translation
- the translation is not the one you fill!
- You can start applying 90 days before your departure ( SO BUY YOUR TICKET AS FAST AS POSSIBLE , since it's one of the requirements) and the least time you apply is 30 days, PLEASE DO NOT PROCRASTINATE PLEASE).
- I didn't need any translation on my documents, but I recommend you to, especially for people who are going to study there for their university.
- The visa will be ready in 10 working days or around 15 days normally.
